Encouraging the Development of Medical Physics Science in Indonesia, FMIPA UI signed Cooperation Agreement with RSCM

Tuesday(11/12), FMIPA UI agreed on collaboration in the field of medical physic with the National Center General Hospital (RSUPN) Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) through the signing of the Cooperation Agreement by Dr.rer.nat. Abdul Haris, Dean of FMIPA UI and Dr. Lies Dina Liastuti, Managing Director of the RSCM, took place in the meeting room of the RSJ ERJT building.

The Dean of FMIPA UI explained this collaboration is FMIPA UI contribution in development of the medical physic science in Indonesia with several plan that will take place in 2019.

The programs are Medical Physicist Professional Program, Radiotherapy Physics Specialist Residential Program, IAEA Regional RAS6088 Training Course, and FMIPA UI Student Research at the Department and Neurology of RSCM.

Supriyanto Ardjo Pawiro, Ph.D. mentioned that it wasn’t the first time FMIPA UI medical physics collaborated with RSCM. In 2016, for example, continued Supriyanto, FMIPA UI Medical Physics has collaborated with RSCM through several collaborative programs including the Medical Physicist Professional Pilot Program, Specialist Residency Residency Program – ROMEA Program RAS6077, Student Research, and the Medical Physics Profession Program.

Through this collaboration, he said, FMIPA UI involved a number of RSCM staff as professional program teachers, professional program matriculiation teachers, and professional and specialist program examiners.
