General Lecture by Prof. Ryota Nagasawa

On March 4th 2020 Prof. Ryota Nagasawa, P.hD from Department of Life and Environmental Agricultural Sciences, Tottori University Japan conducted a guest lecture on Remote Sensing for Geography or Landscape Ecology.

This lecture was held at Sinarmas Hall, Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory FMIPA UI – PT. Pertamina and attended by more than 30 students coming from undergraduate.

He Talked about Landscape Ecology is the science of studying and improving relationship between ecological processes in the environment and particular ecosystems. this is done within a variety of landscape scales, development spatial pattern.

As a highly interdiciplinary field in system science, landscape ecology integrates biophysical and analytical approaches acros the natural sciences and social science.

The series of visiting activities by Prof. Ryota to FMIPA UI was held on 2-13 March 2020. During the visit, Prof. Ryota conducted 4 public lecture agendas, Individual / Group Discussion, Lectures for Undergraduate Students, and UAV Practical Training.
