FMIPA UI Holds AUN-QA Interview Simulations

In less than a week, two FMIPA UI study programs namely physics and biology study programs will face a visitation and assessment phase by the AUN-QA team.

As a preparation for the implementation of these activities and as a follow up to the socialization activities, the Academic Quality Assurance Unit (UPMA) FMIPA UI held a simulated interview on Thursday (10/25) in A courtroom of the Dean Building.

This simulation is intended for education staff, laboratory assistants, librarians, counseling staff, and clinics who act as interviewees.

Dr. Denny R. Silaban, M.Kom., As the head of UPMA FMIPA UI emphasized that this activity is important for interviewees, so they can prepare themselves in answering the questions of the AUN-QA team. He also considered that this simulation can provide an overview of the situation and conditions, as well as the atmosphere during the actual interview.

he further explained, there was a slight technical change in the implementation of the 124th AUN-QA visitation and assessment. In contrast to the 110th AUN-QA implementation for mathematics undergraduate study program last April which was conducted in the mathematics department building FMIPA UI, but the visitation and assessment this time will be held at FT UI.

“The change in location is indeed a request from the AUN-QA team, who requested that all study programs assessed in one university be centered in one building, and decided to be carried out at the FT”. He explained.

Denny hopes that by doing this simulation the real interview on Tuesday (30/10) will go according to expectations and produce the best value for the two study programs.

In addition to undergraduate and biology study programs at FMIPA UI, there are two other study programs at UI that will undergo a visitation and assessment by AUN-QA at the same time namely computer engineering undergraduate study program (Faculty of Engineering), S1 Study Program and Dentistry Profession (Faculty of Dentistry).
